Now that you’re comfy, you probably want to know what this Coach Cait chick is all about.
It’s simple, really.
I make fitness and health easy for busy people.
Not like lying-in-a-hammock-magically-burning-calories easy, but easy to understand, implement and achieve.
As a degree-qualified personal trainer, nutrition coach and functional movement specialist with a lifetime of experience in the fitness industry, I’ve learned that the most effective solutions are the ones you’ll actually do. Willingly. Consistently. And with a sense of enjoyment.
As a coach? I might look cute and sweet, but I’m relatively no nonsense and will give it to you straight.
Instead of overwhelming you with science and complicated rules, I’d rather help you just get on with it. Achieve the body you want, the health you crave and a life you love – without sacrificing your sanity.
(I put this into practice by enjoying the occasional glass of red, combined with loud a capella singing and disco moves in the living room with my dogs & husband. Hey, coaches are real people too!)
Who’s Coach Cait for?
I love working with busy professionals, multitasking moms and everyday people to offer wellness advice that covers all bases.
My training and programs go against the grain (literally – I’m a celiac), are certified 100% BS free and just… work.

The on-paper stuff:
My Mom is a personal trainer, so I was handing out towels to her gym members before I could say ‘drop and give me 20’.
I always knew I wanted to work in the health and fitness industry, and have spent my life geeking out on degrees, courses, textbooks and training.
On paper, this looks like:
→ A degree in Exercise Science from Western Connecticut State University.
→ Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification (CSCS) through the NSCA.
→ Functional Movement Screen specialist certification.
→ Precision Nutrition Coach certification.
→ BioSignature Practitioner certification.
Permission to call me a nerd. I can handle.
The philosophical stuff:
I believe in taking a holistic approach toward health.
As a coach, I take your biochemistry + hormonal profile + habits + mindset + family + work + nutrition + sleep + sun + treats + pets + laughs + goals into account.
But this doesn’t mean I get all freaky deeky sciencey on your ass.
Studying wellness my whole life has given me an appreciation of just how much conflicting info is out there and the beauty of keeping it simple.
I totally get it when people are confused about how to move and what to eat – I’ve experienced the same overwhelm, too.
But the truth is, the foundations matter most. It’s the everyday habits that get results, not the miracle juice cleanse that will make you miserable for three days, two pounds lighter and back to where you started in a week.
That’s why I’m a big believer in fun, sensible and realistic advice that sticks.
And red wine when the feeling strikes.

→I’m head over heels for my dogs Jaxon and Zalea.
→I’m mad about my husband Mike. (Don’t read into the fact that he’s #2 on this list!)
→Red wine and a cappella singing make me ridiculously happy – especially when served together.
→I’m a New Yorker at heart but recently moved to Charleston and LOVE it here.
→I’m a neat-freak/germophobe and have a real thing called emetophobia (look it up! Just not in Google Images).
→If I wasn’t working in the health industry, I’d be an interior designer. Love aesthetics and gorgeous, innovative spaces.
→I’m a diagnosed celiac and follow a gluten-free but flavorful lifestyle. (Which you can read more about here)
